SSANSA is a network of civil society organizations from across the ten states of South Sudan campaigning against armed violence in South Sudan. It is a National Civil Society body working with the civil society, religious groups and the government to help address the problems posed to community security as a result of armed violence. Specifically, the network facilitates actions of the civil society to make people safer from armed violence by preventing and combating the proliferation and misuse of small arms and light weapons in South Sudan, the region and beyond.
